U-Bolt Size Chart

Trailparts recommends the revised tightening torque values for our range of U-Bolts used in Trailparts leaf spring suspension, as part of continuous improvement of our installation procedures.

Torque U Bolt: 40ft/lb - 55Nm

U Bolt torques should be set using a calibrated torque wrench and should be inspected at regular intervals as per Trailparts recommended maintenance.

It is Trailparts recommendation that no lubricants should be used on the threads and these should be clean and free from rust or corrosion.

Now 100000km isn’t a lot in a commercial sense I guess….. however …we would have replaced 4 maybe 5 sets of our little wheel and tyre packages in that mileage normally… So a massive saving. The unihubs are without question the best thing on the market !
